Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your first visit — and beyond.

We recommend starting with a shorter session of 6–8 minutes for standup beds or 8–10 minutes for lay-down beds if you're fair-skinned. Our staff will help you determine the best starting time based on your skin type. It's always better to start conservative and build up gradually.

Most clients tan 2–3 times per week when building a base tan, then drop to 1–2 times per week to maintain it. Your skin needs 24–48 hours between sessions to develop and avoid over-exposure. Consistency is key to a lasting, even glow.

Wear or bring loose, dark clothing and open-toed shoes for after your appointment — tight clothing can rub off the solution before it sets. During the air spray, most clients wear minimal clothing or a swimsuit. We provide disposable undergarments upon request.

Wait at least 6–8 hours before showering, or ideally sleep on it and shower the next morning. When you do shower, use lukewarm water and pat dry — don't rub. Avoid hot showers, swimming, and sweating during that window.

Yes, but UV exposure can fade tattoo ink over time. We recommend using a tattoo-protecting lotion (we carry several in-store) and covering fresh tattoos entirely until fully healed. Ask our staff about the best protective products for your ink.

Memberships give you unlimited access to tanning beds at your chosen level for a flat monthly or yearly fee. Higher-tier memberships include access to more advanced beds. Monthly memberships auto-renew via EFT, while yearly memberships lock in your rate for the full year.

Tanning beds are walk-in during regular business hours — no appointment needed. Spray tans do require a scheduled appointment with one of our tanners. You can book online through GlossGenius or call us directly at 812-331-4000.

Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment, shave or wax at least 24 hours prior, and arrive with clean, dry skin — no lotions, deodorant, or perfume. These steps help the solution adhere evenly for the best possible result.
